Brief History of the Cadillac Eldorado:
Cadillac's third generation Eldorado received a stylish new
makeover in 1957. They treated their top-of-the-line flagship model
with striking features including the now downward tapering fenders,
iconic rear shark fins, and wrap around chrome bumper that showed
off new stainless steel beauty panels that seamlessly flowed into
lower rear quarters. It was a hit to say the least! Not only
luxurious in presentation, but also improved comfort and
convenience with a new rear suspension design and automatic
windows. With a name that translates to "Golden One", the Eldorado
proved it deserved the moniker and saw a total of 12 generations
with production years spanning from 1953 all the way to the year
2002!
