Conclusion
This #1 beautiful award winning Ermine White 1962 Impala Super
Sport we have here for sale at Skyway Classics is an attention
grabbing example powered by the renowned combination of a dual quad
409 V-8 and 4-speed transmission that Chevrolet established a
leading position early in the dawning muscle car era with the Super
Sport option package, beating its competitors to the punch with a
combination of performance oriented drive trains and deluxe
interior appointments for its full size models.
In 1962, Chevrolet launched a cultural phenomenon when it unveiled
the 409/409 HP V-8 version featuring dual quad carburetors, revised
cylinder heads, which proved to be virtually unbeatable in Stock
Eliminator, and resulted in the inspiration for the Beach Boys Hit
Song "409". Purchase t...for more information please contact the
