For Sale: 1972 Porsche 911 in Naarden, Noord Holland

Vehicle Description

They’ve outlasted hippies, disco and yuppies. Is it any wonder they hold their value so well?

The 911T Targa, and also the last of the F models, so the 2.4. I will now explain why this and exactly this one is the Porsche you want. The F model does have the look to fall in love with with all the chrome, but with the biggest engine in that series.
For starters in the Porsche scene, the T does not stand for Targa but for Touring version!
Within Porsche this was the least sporty 911, but loved by many enthusiasts because the ‘911-Tourer’ had a lower torque than the ‘911-Sport’. On the quarter mile, the 911S with 190PK and the 911T with 140PK were even as fast. In the Netherlands, when driving on country roads, it is desirable to have a ‘T’, which provides more torque in the lower revs.

Now I can hear you thinking, but where specifically should you go for a 2.4 911T Ölklappe in Metallic Blau 334? The answer is as follows. The Ölklappe is actually a production error, because in addition to a petrol valve, an oil valve was also made on the Porsche. In those days, there were many manned petrol pumps, so when you were helped, your Porsche drove on mixed fuel. Not really user-friendly, but because they stopped this version so quickly, it is now mega sought-after as a collector’s item! Only in 1972, the ‘Ölklappe-year’, the Porsche Metallic 334 Blau was delivered, which cannot be mistaken for Gemini or Minerva Blau. So this colour too is mega desirable and ‘sought-after’. In terms of driving characteristics, you are also on the front row, the convertible feeling with the rigidity of a coupé; then we are talking about a targa! A targa is as popular as ever because of the amazing look of that chrome targa bar. All in all, a super collector’s item.

This US-delivered (therefore with MFI and 9hp more) matching numbers and matching colors Porsche in that beautiful rockstar colour is then again as you want it. Fully nut&bolt restored with parts of the interior kept original. The restoration is fully documented and there are pictures of everything. Ready to go! Because the beauty of an air-cooled car is of course the idea; the harder you drive the more it cools down. A perfect Cali cruiser that is looking for a new owner.
The spring days are just around the corner. Will you come soon?

Did you spend your youth dreaming about someday owning a Nissan? After all, we know how many decades you’ve waited. –
