GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1
Sportsroof Coupe "Ram Air" for purchase. The Mach 1 moniker came
with performance and appearance upgrades of the Fastback Mustang
line starting in 1969. One of the most recognizable features of the
1971-73 Mustangs is the optional (2-toned with matte black) hood
with dual scoops. They were available as a non-functioning version
or fully functional on models ordered with the Ram Air option. This
ascended the horsepower of the Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland V8 to
275.
The 2-owner car is powered by its 351 V8 Cleveland 4 barrel paired
with an automatic transmission. The Mach 1 has a new gas tank, new
shocks and a tune up. Other highlights include factory air
conditioning, center console, car cover, owner's manual,
AM/FM/Cassette player, rear defrost, aluminum radiator, power
brakes and power steering. The body is straight with good fitment
of body panels and the interior is neat and tidy.
This Mach 1 hits the trifecta: Performance, drivability and stage
presence. Do not fall asleep at the wheel when considering this
car.
