This rare 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet Sportroof is a
true collector's gem, showcasing an array of high-performance
features and meticulous restoration.
Under the hood, it boasts the correct 428-4v Cobra Jet V8 engine,
paired with a factory 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission. The
engine compartment is fully restored in the correct Ford colors and
includes authentic finned valve covers and a functional Shaker
hood, complemented by power steering and front power disc brakes
for an enhanced driving experience.
The exterior of this Mustang is striking in its original Wimbledon
White paint with a black-out hood treatment, accentuated by
color-keyed racing mirrors, Mach 1 stripes, and BFGoodrich Radial
T/A tires in size F: P235/60R15 98S and R: P295/50R15. Inside, the
factory-style Mach 1 Deluxe interior features a wood 4-speed
shifter, a factory-style center console, Mach 1 hi-back bucket
seats, and a Shelby-style wood steering wheel, all contributing to
its authentic and luxurious feel.
The underbody has been meticulously restored with correct red oxide
paint and is fitted with new exhaust, a new gas tank, new Koni red
shocks, and a 3.50 Traction-Lok rear axle, ensuring both
