1964 Ford F100
Car History
The 1964 Ford F100 were an honest and dependable truck back in the
day. We have one restored one here at Adventure Classics that has
been built on a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis with a modified
suspension, 4.6 engine and trans, leather interior, two-tone orange
and white paint, mag wheels and performance tires, and all the
power and comfort of a later model truck.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our completely restored 1964 Ford F100 has a great dependable
Mercury fuel injected 4.6 engine and transmission out of a 2005
Mercury Grand Marquis.
The 4.6 makes great torque and is surprisingly smooth for an engine
and with the well-matched gears in the transmission, it keeps up
with traffic without any issues.
It is planted in a clean, well-maintained engine bay and wears the
fuel rail covers, black valve covers, fuel injection, open element
air cleaner system, power steering, power disc brakes, and has a
reworked suspension under it with the 05 Grand Marquis front
suspension, 4-link rear suspension, and rides on 10-spoke mag
wheels and black sidewall tires.
Interior
The gorgeous black leather interior really completes the orange and
white exterior with its full-length bench seat, white painted
factory dashboard and the complete set of digital gauges and
controls, matching door panels, black carpeting, black three spoke
billet sports steering wheel, and air conditioning.
Exterior
Our F100 has been nicely restored with the bright orange and white
two-tone paint scheme that will always attract attention wherever
this truck goes, and it's easy to see how good the workmanship is
simply by looking down the sides of the body.
It has clean, straight sheet metal with a lot of brightwork
including the grille, front and rear chrome bumpers, and the
stainless trim along the sides really dresses it up.
The bed looks almost completely unused and has been sprayed with
durable spray-in liner material so it will look this good for a
long time.
