Original Unrestored 246 Gts Dino, named for Enzo Ferrari's son
Alfredino, was Ferrari's answer to market demand for a junior racer
with a production-based engine, designed to meet Formula 2
regulations. This Ferrari 246 gts Dino, Coachwork by Scaglietti is
a late production from 1974 and is one of only 313 built in the
final year of production. . A Beautifully Presented,
Late-Production Dino 246 GTS Highly Original Example, Retain
Original Paint and Upholstery. Accompanied by Original Manuals,

DOHC V-6 Engine Three Weber 40 DCNF Carburetors 175 BHP at 7,600
RPM 5-Speed Manual Transaxle 4-Wheel Servo-Assisted Hydraulic Disc
Brakes 4-Wheel Independent-Wishbone Suspension with Coil Springs
and Shock Absorbers. . This 246 gts, chassis 07912 was first
delivered by Wide World of Cars, Inc. of Nanuet, NY in November
1974 to Mr. David G. from New London, NH. The full MSRP was back
then $17800 and included an am/fm Blaupunkt radio that is still
fitted today. The Dino was used by David G. until the end of
September 1985 by which time it had traveled 18k miles. The second
owner was Mr. Tony S. in New York who kept the car for a year
before selling it to Mr. R. Recchiuti of New Jersey when the
mileage had reached 18900 miles. The 4th owner had it when it
reached 20233 miles in 2000, in 2000 the car was presented by
Christie's Auction in the US and found new owner from 2000 to 2022
and resided in VT. As of 2022 we took purchase of it from Gooding &
Co, which means this is a very low mileage example in a very
original paint and interior. The paint has crazed with age,
noticeably on the rear buttresses, and there are very few scratches
in places. The interior has a tan leather seats with brown carpets
and a black top. The original correct type driver door mirror is
fitted, as well as the quarter light window catches so often found
missing on Dinos. This once comes fitted with Air conditioning.
This is a Dino with a continuous history and therefore unrestored
should be extremely appealing for the right collector. . A full
