This 1969 Chevrolet C10 has a cool patina style. But as you dig a
little deeper, you see the crate V8 power, overdrive transmission,
and A/C interior that tell you this real classic is also a true
cruiser.
We love the look of the stepside bed pickups. They give us the
beefy lines of a pickup up front with the wide grille and plateau
hood, and in the rear, we get some artful classic curves. It's pure
Americana, and so it was given the worn-in patina style to make it
look like it belongs out in the amber waves of grain. There are the
right vintage details, like the real wood in the truck bed and a
contour to the rear fender to mount the spare tire on the side of
the bed. So it just likes to have the appearance of a worn-in
classic. But as you look at the profile, it also becomes more
apparent that those Rally-style wheels are really hiding modern
alloys that have an aggressive 17/20 inch front/rear stance. It's a
great way to announce this pickup is a true custom to anyone who
takes the time to give it a second glance.
The interior continues the feeling of classic with upgrades.
There's a good 'ol pickup attitude to the essentials that feel
right with the patina exterior. But the rugged floor mats and
recovered bench seat (utilizing the classic western-style emboss)
let you know this is made for real use. There are even some nice
comfort upgrades like tinted windows and air conditioning. And the
wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, tilt column, and proper temp
gauge are the kinds of additions you want on a true cruiser.
The tidy engine bay has the unmistakable look of proper upgraded
power. This is a fresher 350 cubic-inch crate V8. It has been built
for enhanced power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an
Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers that add power while
feeding the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. This is a
driver's truck, and so clean undercarriage means plenty of
confidence on the road, and you'll spot newer components like the
front sway bar. And you've got great driving features, like power
steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a four-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive.
This truck has a cool look, cool stance, cool A/C interior, and hot
small block power. It all makes for a terrific custom you know you
need to get in your garage. Call today!!!
