Vehicle Description
This 1980 GMC K10 4x4 is the classic pickup with a cool look, a ton
of function, V8 power, and a comfy A/C interior. So it's hard to
resist a versatile vintage truck like this, especially at this
value price.
When we see a brown and tan two-tone GMC, it's hard not to
immediately think of The Fall Guy. That's especially true when this
one also has the tall 4x4 stance. So maybe you're already thinking
about adding a whip antenna and a brush guard. But there's more
here than just star power nostalgia. We're told this had a
long-term first owner for nearly 40 years, and it has the right
look of care and investment. It's also said that the finish was
redone in 2004, and it continues to have the glossy look of
quality. Clean lines, bright chrome bumpers, and rally wheels give
this the classic GMC look you love. And there are even nice
upgrades, like the Euro-style tail lights and color-matched line
paint in the bed.
The interior has the feeling of a comfortable classic. So it has a
quality vintage truck style with a distinct seat pattern, clean
door panels, and rugged rubber floor covering. But you also know
there have been the right investments here. The dash is a
newer-style piece with billet-like inserts, a matching column
shifter, a column-mounted tach, and a grippy Lecarra sports
steering wheel. There's also extra comfort with the AM/FM/CD
stereo, movable cup holder center console, sliding rear glass, and
cold-blowing air conditioning.
Under the hood is a fresher 350 cubic-inch crate V8. It has a new
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an upgraded intake, and headers
feeding into the dual exhaust. It makes for a stout and powerful
package. So while it's unknown if the odometer reflects the actual
mileage, it seems kind of moot when the exterior, interior, and
motor have all received proper investments in quality. The 4x4
drivetrain with a two-speed transfer case and BF Goodrich
All-Terrain T/As mean this GMC has true go-anywhere ability. But
there's more to this package. The three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front
have the kind of easy driving use for any day fun.
Complete with maintenance records, this is an interesting,
versatile, and loaded classic 4x4. So you know you want to get your
hands on it right now.
