Mechanical
The Ford 4.6 liter DOHC V8 engine in ours belts out 305 horsepower
from the factory with that famous Mustang V8 exhaust rumble. With
the BBK induction and ram air cleaner system it makes more now but
is still smooth, bulletproof, and reliable.
It appears factory stock other than that under the hood which
houses the giant Shaker-style scoop up top. It also has the
aluminum valve covers, air conditioning, power steering, disc
brakes, and all other GT stock engine compartment parts.
It is backed by a quick-shifting 5-speed manual transmission that
makes it a great milage getter on the highway and it rides super
with its McPherson independent front and four-bar link rear
suspension, black cast-aluminum wheels shod with black sidewall
performance tires.
Interior
The sharp black leather interior is comfortable and functional and
has a factory black steering wheel, center console, floor mats,
A/C, power windows/locks/mirrors, cruise control, tilt wheel,
AM/FM/CD stereo unit, white shift knob atop the 5-speed shifter, a
decent-sized back seat and a functional trunk rounds out this
Mustang.
It even has the Mustang logo in pressed into the leather on the
steering wheel and the seat backs too.
Exterior
The 2004 Mustang styling makes this Mustang look aggressive with
the dark Sonic Blue paint giving it a deep subtle luxurious look
with the big shaker hood scoop, ground effects, rear spoiler and
lower valance, and special added SVT badging.
You also get blacked-out mirrors, quarter panel scoops, tinted
windows, fog lamps, and the cool 40th Anniversary Mustang logo
badges on the front fenders and decklid.
