Vehicle Description
This 2009 Dodge Challenger SpeedFactory is one of the best ways to
get a loaded coupe that's really an incognito supercar. So while
you're going to love all the features that come on a low-mileage
and loaded modern car, your real desire for this one is all about a
performance-built motor that's delivering 500+ horsepower to the
rear wheels!
While the name for this paint is Bright Silver Metallic, it's so
sleek and shiny it probably should have just been called
"Quicksilver" instead. It shows all signs of being the factory
application, and it's still so striking because this coupe has less
than 4,800 miles on the odometer. So you have a radiant finish and
an excellent panel fit, and that makes this first impression as
crisp and aggressive as a blade. Plus, you'll love all of the
intimidating touches on this top-of-the-line SRT model. The large
chin spoiler, blacked-out grille, vented hood, and full-length rear
spoiler are all clear indications this is a true muscle car. But
Dodge also got the details right, too, by striking a perfect
balance between retro design and modern attraction. For example,
the classic racing stripes on the hood have a carbon fiber pattern.
And while you get the classic quad headlights, they now have high
discharge beams. And while this one loves to be a bit of a sleeper
about how much extra muscle is under the hood, the Forged Speed
wheels give a better peek at the upgraded brakes so that people get
a taste of the full performance package.
The dark charcoal factory interior continues this coupe's speedy
and preserved attitude. The SRT leather bucket seats with
suede-like inserts are some of the best modern units you can get
straight from the factory. Yours even power adjusts to the ideal
driving position. This is a loaded modern muscle machine with all
the features you could want, including power windows, power locks,
keyless entry, keyless ignition, cruise control, power steering,
dual front airbags, side airbags, and ice-cold air conditioning.
The AM/FM/CD stereo is a premium unit with a factory subwoofer. But
most of all, you're going to love how the stick shift feels in your
right hand, and your left one will love the grip of the sports
steering wheel. And beyond that, you get special SRT white-faced
gauges with a large speedo and very important tach.
The engine bay looks just as stock and preserved as the rest of
this coupe, but the receipt file tells a very interesting story
about this car. It was an early 2009 model that was immediately
commissioned for work at Speed Factory (aka Landmark Dodge.) And
while the callouts tell you this is a 6.1-liter Hemi car, the
actual powerhouse is even MORE legendary. This was given an
Arrington 440 cubic-inch V8. The full purchase and installation of
the motor and supporting components was a $31k+ job alone. The
included dyno sheet shows 503 horsepower to the rear wheels! Plus,
the full package was upgraded to make sure it can handle this
power. The six-speed is a TR-6060 with a high-performance
Centerforce clutch. This feeds into an upgraded rear axle designed
for 1,000 horsepower. The suspension is a Hotchkis Stage 1 TVS
System with springs, sway bars, and bushings. Stopping is even
enhanced with the Brembo four-wheel power disc brakes with upgraded
slotted rotors.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker, factory
buildsheet, dealer invoice, owner's manual packet, maintenance
records, dyno sheet, and the build receipts. There's also an
upgraded cold air intake and handheld tuner in case you want to
flash the computer for maximum performance. You can even install
the Speed factory decals if you want to be less incognito. This
special Challenger lets you bring awesome power to the streets all
from the comfort of a luxury A/C interior. Call today!!!
