Stories, form and feeling. That's what Giovanni was doing right from the start of Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino. And those temperamental Italians, they are very good at that. Thus was born the Fiat 6C 1500 Berlinetta. One of the first production cars ever made in a wind tunnel. It was presented in 1935 together with other members of the 1500 branch at the Paris Motor Show.
The name 1500 refers to the engine; they are powered by the same engine block, a 1493 cc six-in-line with a partially synchronised four-speed gearbox attached. The end result? Silky smooth and for a 1.5, lots of fun! It relaxes, has a sporty edge and breathes craftsmanship.
Our 6C has a fantastic all-aluminium body, provided by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. Everything was shaped by hand and every body had slightly different shapes or features. So you could say ours is completely unique. Its crest contrasts beautifully with the elegantly curved windscreen. She was registered at Registro FIAT Italiano under the number 919 in 1993.
