1972 Ford LTD
Car History
The 1972 Ford LTD convertible, like the one we have here at
Adventure Classics, was considered a great personal luxury car and
ours is a great-looking car with a long hood, spacious cabin and
sizable trunk area that has the great convertible top too.
But what makes it unique is that it has a true mileage of only a
tad over 59,000 miles.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our white LTD has what appears to be the original factory stock
looking 351 cubic inch engine mated to an automatic transmission
and has Power steering, Power brakes, factory Air conditioning,
with chrome valve covers and air cleaner, performance distributor,
coil, and spark plug wires, Ford Racing blue painted engine block,
heads, intake, and factory air cleaner assembly, dual exhaust with
chrome tips, and all sitting in a very clean and detailed engine
compartment.
It rides on stock steel wheels with Ford wire wheel look hub caps
and fitted with white sidewall tires.
Interior
The interior in our LTD is a great plush red front and rear bench
seat with watching red door panels, carpet, and dash.
It has plenty of room for four or more to cruise in comfort,
performance, and style. The red dash has a wrap-around instrument
panel with factory gauges, speedometer, and an AM/FM Stereo
radio.
The original Interior is really impressive and fully loaded with
amenities including the red steering wheel, power windows and
locks, air conditioning, and the trunk area is cavernous as you'd
expect and a full size spare and jack is also in place.
Exterior
The paint on our is as you can see a bright, shiny white with a
matching white convertible top and has a very striking appearance
with that color combo and the chrome on the sides and front and
rear bumpers.
The body fitment, chrome trim, bumpers front and back are straight
and clean, and the doors, hood and deck lid all open and close
smoothly too.
Conclusion
The curb appeal of this one-owner 1972 Ford LTD we have here at
Adventure Classics is super as this LTD convertible is a car you
don't often come across often.
It is a classic and ready to drive anywhere in the country you want
to cruise, in 70s style.
How cool is that?
