We have a National First Prize Antique Automobile Club Of America
plaque Winner, with that badge proudly shown on the car, 1938 Ford
Sedan here at Adventure Classics. It is a top-notch restoration of
a Ford that is recalled as having features with a more rounded look
with fine horizontal bars in the convex front and hood-side
grilles. The front grille was V-shaped, rather than following the
fenders into a pentagon shape, as on a 1936 model.
This 1938 Ford has been transformed with sleek blue paint on the
outside, well-built original flathead engine, and a manual
transmission that makes for a stunning head-turning classic that
also has plenty of vintage appeal.
Engine & Drivetrain
Ours is powered by the Ford Flathead V8 with a factory original
carb, factory air cleaner and intake, and looks very original in
every aspect, just as it did back in its day.
The engine runs perfect and smooth, has had a rebuild and proper
maintenance and looks very clean and detailed, in the painted and
factory correct engine compartment.
It has great power for cruising and rides on factory correct steel
wheels with the Ford factory chrome hubcaps and wide whitewall
tires.
Interior
Inside you will find a factory original restored bench seat in tan
cloth that is comfortable and looks great with its matching door
panels, rear matching rear seat, and carpeting.
It has a factory wood dash with all the correct working factory
gauges and controls, floor shifter, and factory spoke steering
wheel. Exterior
The Ford is painted in a great looking shade of dark blue with
great chrome bumpers, trim, and grill. The body and undercarriage
are in great shape and looks good too.
The paint has a very deeper shine that really highlights our Ford's
awesome curves with the black running boards setting it off.
It is truly a time capsule of a 1938 Ford Sedan.
