After all, this is a fuel-injected V8 car/truck that looks like a
custom build. So an aggressive black with an aggressive name is
absolutely fitting. And this example has lived in Florida all its
life thus far. It has been given the kind of care and investments
that keeps what's believed to be the factory finish looking glossy
and impressive. And this striking presentation is part of why the
low odometer is believed to represent the full actual mileage.
These SSRs defined retro-cool with a look that was inspired by the
rounded fender Advance Design pickups of the '40s and '50s. This
even has running boards for a true classic/cool look. But the style
is streamlined and taken into the modern era. This attention to
aerodynamic detail is seen in the way the hardtop disappears
without almost any trace, and the bed has a flush-fitting locking
tonneau both stylish and secure. Overall, the SSR is the kind of
daring design that was so expensive to make that GM made it a
specialty factory. In fact, this was the final year for the SSR,
and it was the lowest production number in the overall short run.

this year!
The black leather interior meant this has the ultra-desirable
all-black package direct from Chevy. These were expensive when new,
and so this may look as mean as midnight, but it's quite the
coddling luxury package. You have dual leather bucket seats that
individually adjust to the ideal position (the driver even has a
memory function.) Plus, there are power windows, power locks, power
mirrors, cruise control, keyless entry/alarm, front airbags, side
airbags, power steering, and a premium AM/FM/CD stereo with Bose
speakers. And we particularly like that there's both cold-bowing
air conditioning and heated seats. So you and your passenger can
get comfortable with the top-down no matter if it's noon in the
summer or a crisp fall evening.
Another advantage of a final-year SSR is that it has the later V8
upgrade. The 6.0-liter LS2 is a fuel-injected powerhouse offered a
healthy boost in power to 390 hp. This has an exceptionally stock
style, which further reinforces the low mileage look on what shows
all signs of being the original powerhouse. It has been given good
care and maintenance, including the right investments for a strong
driver. This includes an upgraded fan and new sport tires on the
polished alloys. So we know you'll want to add to the low odometer.
The four-speed automatic transmission is the ideal balance of quick
kick-downs into power and easy shifts into overdrive cruising. They
even built these like a sports car with tubular control arms on the
rear suspension, sway bars front & rear, and four-wheel power disc
brakes w/ABS.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and receipt showing
new tires in 2019. This is the final-year SSR in arguably the most
