For Sale: 1986 Porsche 930 in Fallbrook, California

CPR Classic is delighted to offer this 1986 Porsche 930 finished in black with a tan interior. This example has 38,000 original miles and has spent the entirety of its life in Texas. Delivered new to El Paso, the car was driven fairly regularly until around 2010 when it was placed into long-term storage. CPR acquired this 930 about 9 months ago and performed a detailed reconditioning after the car exited long-term storage.

Upon arrival, the car was first evaluated mechanically and a major service was performed. Fuel and oil lines were changed due to age, as well as spark plugs and a complete fluid service including engine oil, gear oil, and a brake fluid flush. Following the mechanical preparation, a thorough paint correction was performed to remove scratches and oxidation that developed from the years the car sat in storage. The paint is all original and there are rock chip blemishes on the front bumper and hood. CPR will repaint the panels at no charge if the new owner would prefer to have the car cosmetically excellent as opposed to retaining all original paint.

The car's interior remains 100 percent original including its original Blaupunkt Monterey radio. Detailed cleaning of the interior revealed wonderful original carpet, an excellent dash, and seats with limited bolster stretching that have been nicely preserved over the years.

The car currently sits on a set of period BBS wheels that, in our opinion look excellent. However, correct original Fuchs wheels can be sourced and installed if the new owner would prefer them at an additional cost. Aside from the aftermarket wheels, the car remains wholly original and has a completely stock engine with all of its factory smog equipment.
