For Sale: 1981 GMC Sierra in Lutz, Florida

Vehicle Description

Trucks always have a solid and intimidating look to them, but this 1981 GMC Sierra 1500 Restomod is so much more. With bold paint, four-on-the-floor, and an enhanced crate small block power, it also has the muscle car heart to back it all up. And you'll love how the A/C interior lets you enjoy it all in complete comfort.

This one makes sure people know it's something special from the first moment it comes into view. The medium blue paint is a modern upgrade with a nice electric-like luster and nice metallic element embedded in it for added brilliance. There's only about 350 miles on this truck since its recent restoration. So more than just excellent paint, the whole truck has a fresh and clean style. Mirror-like chrome bumpers, a comprehensive rubber bed mat, a clean Chevy grille, and well-creased body panels are all part of the thoughtful investment. And of course, there's plenty of speedy style with the cowl hood, polished dual exhaust tips, lowered suspension, and the 18-inch Ridler wheel with a classic salt flat design.

A fresh build also means a fresh interior. The bench seat, carpeting, dash pad, and door panels all have an inviting presentation from a recent proper investment. It's a comfortable cruiser with features such as a retro-style AM/FM stereo and cold-blowing air conditioning. The three-spoke sports steering wheel has a nice grip, and it gives you a clear view of the full Dakota gauges. And the Hurst shifter really lets you know there's something special under the hood.

While there have been some great investments inside and out, your favorite one might just be under the hood. This is a 350 cubic-inch crate V8 that has been stroked, decked, honed, and balanced to be a 355ci stout powerhouse. The enhancements include a Comp Cams Stage 2 camshaft, Speedo Pro hypereutectic flat-top pistons, a dual-plane aluminum intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Plus, long tube headers add extra power and extra rumble to the dual exhaust. And the four-speed manual transmission with Zoom clutch gives you proper control over it all. As you look over the full package, you'll see this was built with everything from an aluminum radiator to help keep it running cool, to an Eaton Positraction rear end to confidently get all the power to the ground. So it makes for a great driving setup, including power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern sport tires.

The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and service manuals. This is the fresh custom-built that gives you power, control, and comfort. So if you want it all, you need to call today!
