1957 GMC Suburban Carrier pickup for sale! Motorcar Classics is
proud to present this rare and stunning 1957 GMC Suburban Carrier
pickup featured in Orbit Blue with Dover White accent and a
matching blue and white vinyl interior. The Suburban Carrier is a
cousin to Chevrolet's similar Cameo pickup, a highly-styled special
edition series offered between 1955 and 1958. This was, perhaps,
the first pickup designed to sell on style as much as utility, and
the fiberglass quarter panels and other features that truly set
them apart from General Motors' more utilitarian pickups. Only 250
units were produced each year. This truck has been the subject of
an older nut amp; bolt restoration to authentic and correct
specifications and it remains in extremely good condition. This
Suburban Carrier has the optional 347 CI Pontiac V8 mated to a
4-speed manual transmission. The truck is reliable and well-sorted
with new tires and fuel tank. The truck has its original GMC radio
and a very rare GMC accessory fan. This is a truck you can drive or
show with pride.
