Vehicle Description
A bold style, rumbling V8 power, and the right Super Sport upgrades
make this 1968 Chevrolet Nova SS tribute the kind of classic that's
perfect for all-around enjoyment. And this impresses even in the
details, like the bucket seat interior and suspension upgrades.
We have a receipt file showing solid investment throughout this car
in 2016. This includes the paint. The color looks like close kin to
Chevy's famous Hugger Orange, and that sets the right tone for the
car. After all, you have a good gloss to the finish and bright trim
that give this the right look for a classic bow tie. And the style
is an attractive icon that won't make you too nervous to enjoy it
to the fullest. And that's what a cruising classic is all about.
After all, a Super Sport is all about being a driver, and this pays
proper tribute to that with the blackout grille, blackout rear
panel, ribbed rocker, hood vent trim, and 15-inch Rally wheels.
It's truly attractive and truly a cruiser.
The moment you see the Procar front bucket seats inside you know
this was made to be a great driver. They have the kind of
body-hugging bolstering you could never get in the 1960s. These
seats as well as the rear bench, carpeting, door panels, and dash
all have a clean and dark style of an attractive Nova. There are
cool driver's details that give you upgraded features while still
remaining vintage. You see it in the dual-spoke SS steering wheel,
center console, and Sunpro auxiliary readouts. So while you could
upgrade the AM/FM/cassette stereo to a more modern unit, it kinda
already feels right in this retro-cool dash.
Under the hood is a clean and mean-looking V8. This 350 cubic-inch
small block is reported to have been rebuilt as part of the 2016
restoration, and it's now said to have roller rockers and a roller
cam. It's built with added style and substance thanks to an
Edelbrock suite that includes finned valve covers, a matching air
grabber, and an intake painted black. The V8 inhales deeper with a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, and long tube headers let this
exhale with power while also contributing to the sweet tune of the
newer dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. There are also good
supporting components like an HEI distributor and an aluminum
radiator. As you look underneath, you'll spot the right good
driving pieces, like a three-speed automatic transmission (rebuilt
in 2016), upgraded power front disc brakes, subframe connectors,
and rear traction bars.
Complete with build receipts, this is a bright hardtop with the
right upgrades for driving. It makes for a Nova you need to get
your hands on right now. Call today!!!
