This 2001 Chevrolet Corvette is a low-mileage coupe that has a
well-preserved presentation. But that's not what first caught your
eye. There's added sporty flair on the outside that's instantly
attractive. And there have also been performance upgrades to let
this six-speed C5 earn this style.
Not everyone knows Navy Blue Metallic was offered for the C5, and
it was one of the least popular colors for its years. Today that
means added rarity to go with the upper-classic distinction. This
shows all the right signs of being the original application. It's a
low-mileage classic and there's even a clear protective bra in
front. So it shows far less use than its other 20+ year-old modern
classic contemporaries. It makes for a great way to highlight the
unique pieces of the car. It has added flair with bright inlet
grilles, upgraded exhaust tips, and a detailed set of Forged
Performance wheels. The hints of silver are stylish against the
dark blue and it highlights pieces like the power dome hood and the
hallmark quad tail lights. Plus, you may have noticed the silver
hash marks in the fender that are the sign of a Grand Sport. While
there was no C5 Grand Sports, when you look at the full package,
you'll see that this one was built to imagine what kind of upgraded
performance it could bring.
The Pewter interior is another color choice that makes this car
distinguished. The low mileage means less seat time, and so the
leather continues to look premium and feel supple. And just like
the exterior, there's a distinctive custom style with the carbon
fiber accents - including the center console. This is loaded with
all the best features like dual-zone automatic A/C climate control,
a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual airbags, AM/FM/CD stereo
with Bose speakers, power windows, power locks, power steering,
keyless entry/alarm, and a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat.
And those who know the C5 look for premium features like the
windshield head-up display (HUD). That makes for the kind of car
that's great to enjoy out on the road, and the large trunk means
the big trips are easy, too.
The engine bay is ready to be put on display. All the upgraded navy
blue looks clean and sleek, and there's plenty of added polish to
make this as attractive as the exterior. More than just looking
awesome, this was built to be a better driver, too. Do you remember
the Grand Sport hashes from the hood? So this earns that feeling by
enhancing the fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 motor. This V8 inhales
deeper with a Vortex ram air induction system, and it exhales with
added power and authority from an upgraded dual exhaust. And the
six-speed manual transmission lets you get the most of this motor.
The fully-independent suspension is enhanced with Hotchkis
components, and the four-wheel power disc brakes are upgraded with
drilled and slotted rotors. So this has the enhanced power, growl,
and grip you would have expected on a factory Grand Sport.
It's amazing that a car this distinct and desirable is also so
affordable. That's why you need to hurry on this deal. Call
