Vehicle Description
Having been introduced in 1968 and continued through the 1982 model
year, the Corvette C3 was one of the longest running sports cars of
its time. With a whole host of GM's latest technology, the Corvette
represented the best of the best. The 1978-1979 models featured a
bunch of changes that would give the already ten year old design a
new bit of style. Most notable was the rear glass fastback style
which not only increased cargo capacity but also lowered
aerodynamic drag. Other new features included a new "aircraft
inspired" center gauge cluster, passenger glovebox.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this 1979 Chevrolet
Corvette for your consideration. The car spent much of its life in
Tennessee and appears to be very solid. The car comes with
registrations from over the years showing where it lived.
Highlights include t-tops, tilt column, power brakes, power
steering, air conditioning, power locks and power windows, rear
defrost, rear cargo shade.
These Corvettes represent a bargain in the classic car market and
they have good performance and a unique driving experience. The
cars are easy to work on and have a cult following.
