The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1953 Dodge Truck for
your consideration. This beautiful truck has been restored to an
incredible level of attention and detail. The red single stage
paint on this vehicle is in great condition and pairs beautifully
with the black, gray, and red patterned cloth interior that is in
excellent condition. This Dodge is powered by a 217ci flathead
straight-six that sends the power to the rear wheels through a
3-speed manual transmission. The level of detail this Dodge was
restored to needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated.
The B-series pickup trucks were sold from 1948 to 1953. They
replaced the prewar Dodge truck and were replaced by the Dodge C
series in 1954. The B-series trucks came in several different
variants. 1953 was the last year of the "pilot-house" trucks, but
brought many new changes. New longer rear fenders were added, which
would continue to be used by Dodge through 1985.
