These cars have seen tremendous appreciation in the last few years. They were designed in a co-operative effort between Carroll Shelby and the Rootes Group in England. Shelby carefully wedged the V8 into the Alpine body and changed the suspension, transmission, and rear end to accommodate the increase in horsepower. With the passing of Carroll Shelby, the older Shelby's are continuing to rapidly increase in value… a testament to the uniqueness of the era and the man responsible for many of the legendary cars of the '60's.
