hand picked and meets Joe Basil's standards of excellence and
tradition of fine automobiles since 1951. This vehicle is truly one
of a kind and is most likely one of the cleanest lowest mileage
ones that you will find! This vehicle was born and spent many of
its early years as the Fire Chief Vehicle in New Hull , Iowa. As
you can see by the mileage, the fire chief rarely used this truck.
The vehicle was subsequently purchased by a nearby Chevrolet dealer
who two toned the truck and used it as a display vehicle for many
years. The vehicle was then purchased by a collector who owned it
for the last 6 or 7 years and put it away in storage. The panels
and underside of this truck are as clean as you would expect out of
a 12,000 vehicle. It has been mechanically gone through so you will
