Michigan in 2015 where it was held in a private collection until
our recent acquisition. This Estate Wagon features just 84712
original miles since new and presents itself in outstanding
original condition.
The car retains its most, if not all, of its original, Copper-Beige
original paint with its original woodgrain accents, over light
brown interior original interior. It is powered by its original 305
V8 engine, automatic transmission with overdrive and rear wheel
drive. This wagon is highly optioned to include: Power steering,
power brakes, power windows, power antenna, power rear window,
power locks, rear defrost, air conditioning, bench seat,
leatherette seating, cruise control, power front seats, remote
exterior mirrors, intermittent wipers, factory stereo with
cassette, folding 3rd row seat, etc. The car rides on a set of 15
inch wheels with rally hats and trim rings. The original wire wheel
covers are in excellent condition and come with the sale.
The Copper Beige exterior paint remains in excellent condition, of
course not 100 percent perfect as it does so a few minor chips that
are consistent with the excellent care and use the vehicle has
realized throughout its history. The light brown interior remains
outstanding original in all areas, and the underside is dry, clean
original and shows as expected for a low mile California car.
Mechanically, this car does not disappoint. The 305 V8 runs
excellent and quiet, the steering, brakes and suspension all
operate together, offering a smooth, plush ride.
The vintage station wagon market is red hot. Clean, mechanically
sound examples as the wagon offered here continue to gain traction.
