For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle in Orinda, California

Vehicle Description

This was not a “thrown together build”

This was my second Chevelle build and after doing the first one I had learned so much I wanted to do it again, only better.

The planning, execution, and effort was all in pursuit of building a long lasting, reliable, and fun car.

You can sit at a carshow and gets lots of “wows”, daily drive it, go on long road trips, and even auto cross it or drag race it just as it is.

3 coats of color, 3 coats of clear, wet sanded and polished. This paint job looks poured on.

Custom front badging (5.3L) matching original design. Badges were late so some pictures show original 307 badges.

Currently showing one side mirror. Passenger side mirror can be added if buyer requests.

Current “Chevelle” badging not installed on front and rear. Both can be added if buyer requests

Engine is a 5.3 liter LM7 from an ‘03 Tahoe with the 4L60e 4 speed automatic transmission. Engine was dyno tuned to 299.4 wheel horsepower. (wanted to round to 300 but hey, gotta sleep at night)

There’s a lot of room for upgrades to this engine depending on what you want to do with it but my intention was to keep it solid and versatile to the build. This is a fun car to drive and it is super reliable.

Custom seats and console. All new original style reproduction interior panels and accessories.

Retro looking audio system with Bluetooth, power amp, and sub. Sounds great. USB port in console and floor lights on dome light circuit.
