This 1988 Chevy Suburban is a really clean Squarebody that spent
its life in Tennessee and North Carolina. This truck has always
been well cared for and for the most part has been a 2nd vehicle or
toy truck. It is a 2 Owner truck with a cool look! The body on this
Burb is really nice and very straight and clean. It has been
repainted one time in its original color of black and the paint
still looks excellent! It was a professional paint job as were the
added flames. Beautiful paint. All of the trim and chrome on this
truck is really nice and the underside is also very clean. We found
no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also in excellent condition. The seats have newer
custom upholstery and the headliner was also recently redone. The
rest of the interior appears to be original and ist still in
beautiful shape. Someone added a pretty nice stereo system to it at
some point and sounds great compared to the factory one. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are working.
This truck has tilt and working cruise control. All of the gauges
are working and the heat, horn, wipers are working. The power
windows and locks also work like they should. The AC is complete
but it is not blowing cold.
Mechanically this Suburban runs and drives really nice. The engine
is the 5.7L 350 V8 that runs strong and smooth. It appears to be
all stock with the exception of headers and dual exhaust. The
transmission is the 700R4 Automatic that shifts nice and it is
mated to the np 241 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It
has a 10 Bolt rear axle with 3.42 gears and it is a limited slip.
The front axle is also a 10 Bolt with 3.42 gears. This truck has a
4 Inch lift kit with newer shocks. This is all sitting on a set of
factory Rallye Wheels with 35 Inch Mud Terrain tires. Cool
ride!!
