1989 PORSCHE 964 CARRERA 4 COUPE
The 964 was considered to be 85% new as compared to its predecessor, the Carrera 3.2. The updates are way too long to list here but with a 3.6 Liter Boxer 6 Cylinder engine, power was the 1st thing that was noticed. As for what you see, the bumper treatment saw a much-updated design along with a greatly needed updated gearbox and shift mechanism. As mentioned, an 85% re-design has too many changes to list but one thing is for sure, the driving experience was severely enhanced.
This example has come to us from a very respected collector/enthusiast who enjoyed the car sparingly during the pandemic. The car was acquired here and remained in our possession in concierge storage and was used on occasional weekends. As with all his collection, this 964 is in impeccable condition. The Supple leather interior shows beautiful patina. Behind the wheel feels like it just left the factory. It drives tight and has that great 911 feel that puts a big smile on your face.
