This 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 XL has upgraded V8 power, a speedy
style, and a distinct blue/green packaging that makes for a cool

There's a lot of personality in this Ford. The Fairlane coupes were
restyled this year with stacked headlights, Coker bottle curves,
and a hardtop style with fastback lines. So they were

This Fairlane was produced right before the era of the mighty 351ci

that's perfect for this upgrade. You get a hardy powerhouse in a
lighter small block package. It has been upgraded further with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Ford
Motorsports finned valve covers. This is a strong runner and it
makes a sweet tune out of the newer dual exhaust. There's even a
stout but smooth C6 three-speed automatic transmission to get the
power moving to the ground.
