Vehicle Description
Produced in small quantities, a total of 729 H1 Alphas were built,
417 of which were wagons. This 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha wagon model is
powered by the factory Duramax 6600 6.6-liter 32 valve turbodiesel
engine making 300hp and 520 ft/lbs of torque paired with an Allison
1000 5-speed automatic transmission. The Alpha has special
features, such as inboard brakes and portal gears that allow the
drivetrain's half shafts a higher placement for greater ground
clearance. The radiator is up high, sloping over the engine on a
forward-hinged hood, and the air intake is a high-mount snorkel.
The Alpha boasts 16 inches of ground clearance and aggressive
approach and departure angles, enabling it to climb a 22-inch-high
obstacle, handle a 60% grade, and wade through 30 inches of water.
The factory black exterior features a winch kit, front brush guard,
three front-facing LED light bars, two rear-facing LED lights and a
full roof rack with a ladder. There's also a rear-facing camera,
satellite dish and tow hitch. The two-tone brown-and-black factory
leather interior is equipped with four LCD screens.
