The Mercedes Benz C-Class series of compact executive cars launched
in the mid-90s. These days, even entry-level luxury cars offer a
wealth of features to satisfy all but the most discerning of
buyers, and the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is near the top of its
class in terms of features.
This particular C300 comes with the luxury package, which features
the 3.0-liter, 228-horsepower V-6 through a 7-speed transmission to
the rear wheels. All models benefit from a hydraulic shock system
with adaptive damping called Agility Control, and all get the
Adaptive Brake and Pre-Safe systems from the larger cars. Of
course, the C's interior was wholly restyled and borrowed heavily
from its more upscale siblings. This C300 is equipped with SIRIUS
Satellite Radio, Heated Front Seats, Garage door opener, Rain
Sensing Wipers, Power Folding Mirrors, and Burl Walnut wood
trim.

Upon arriving at Canepa, the C300 was subjected to a comprehensive
inspection within our Service department and found to be in
excellent condition throughout. Bruce Canepa decided to upgrade the
C300, including lowering the suspension, AMG 18" wheels in Canepa
"proprietary" magnesium graphite coating (process used in 959SC
wheels). The C300 also received new Michelin sport tires 225/40/R18
in the front and 265/24/R18 for the rear, totaling over $8500 in
upgrades.
