of the automobile industry. With practical suicide doors, artillery

sense of the word.

that was produced from 1931 to 1953 and sold in Buick automobiles,
replacing the Buick Straight-6 engine across the board in all
models in 1931.
Like many American automobile makers, Buick adopted the
straight-eight engine in 1931 as a more powerful alternative to the
previous engines.
It looks as new and is 220.7 cubic inches and is painted and
detailed and has been rebuilt and painted in the brown that is
period correct with its carburetor, cooling fan, electrical system,
and all sitting in a restored, cleaned, and detailed engine
compartment.
It is backed up by a manual transmission and can still cruise
around on the street as it did back them. It rides on body color
painted spoke wheels with wide whitewall tires.
Interior
Inside our Buick is a clean and neat brown cloth bench seat that
looks great and is very comfortable as well as the factory gauges
in the middle of the dash, chrome shifter, tan floor mats, wood
steering wheel, and brown carpet.
It also looks as it did when it graced the showroom floor back in
1931.
Exterior
Our 1931 Buick Model is painted period correct too in a tan color
that is set off by the contrasting darker fenders to make a very
stylish looking paint scheme.
The restoration has a very complete look with the twin front
headlights, iconic grill, chrome front bumper, and mirrors.
It even has the spare tire in the back and has a great chrome rear
bumper too. You won't be disappointed with how it goes down the
road and the looks you get when you do.
Conclusion
The 1931 Buick we here at Skyway Classics is a great restoration of
a fun car and driver to take on a cruise or to a show.
It has been restored back to what it looked like back then and will
be the talk of any car show or cruise you take it too.
