Finished in Concrete Gray, this restored 4-wheel-drive 1964
International Scout is powered by a 152ci 4-cylinder engine backed
by a 3-speed manual transmission. During the restoration, the
engine and transmission were removed, and the entire body and frame
were sandblasted and repainted. The engine compartment and bed were
painted with a flat fine bed liner material, and the bumpers and
wheels were powder-coated a darker gray color. It is equipped with
a new cooling system water pump, thermostat, radiator and coolant
hoses, as well as a new clutch slave cylinder, u-joints and
exhaust. The carburetor, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, battery and
ignition switch also are new. The gas tanks have been flushed and
cleaned. The front and back glass is new with all new
weatherstripping throughout. The interior features a reupholstered
seat, while the exterior features a new bed bottom with plate
steel.
