Vehicle Description
Presented in Metallic Lilac, this 1967 Caravelle S Cabriolet has
undergone a restoration with many of the correct original tags,
labels and brightwork also restored. Lifting the rear engine lid
reveals an 1108cc 4-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual
transmission. Recent maintenance includes transmission rebuild with
new clutch kit and engine reseal. Inside, the fully restored black
interior is true to the original, with floors lined with gray
square weave carpet, Renault seatbelt buckles and polished
"Caravelle" script door sills. Even the trunk has been fully
detailed with the original tool roll still in place on the
bulkhead. The car sits on factory-correct 3-lug wheels with 135 SR
15 Michelin tires. The glove box has been signed by Virgil Exner
Jr., the famous automobile designer for numerous American
companies, most notably Chrysler and Studebaker.
