1987 Chevrolet K1500 4x4 (works) 1992 12 valve, P7100 pump Running
project. I drive it atleast 3 to 4 days a week. Done: -HX35 turbo -
3k RPM Governer Springs so it's not a complete turd on the highway.
- "Built" 700r4 trans which given the history of 700r4s isn't
saying a lot. I've been searching for a NV4500 to go in it. - 4.10
gears front and back, front 10 bolt has been gone through and
regasketed, rear is a freshly built 12 bolt with an Eaton trutrac
differential. - Engine was dissembled and gone through prior to
installing it and regasketed. - Diesel conversion GM adapter plate
which requires a 6 liter Powerstroke starter. Not Done: - Still
need to run painless wiring system to clean up the cheap wiring
used before to get it running. So gauges aren't all fully correct
and some aren't hooked up. Only the necessities (oil pressure,
boost, temperature, voltage.) Speedo? There's an app for that. -
