Selling my Canadian-made 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible. The car is factory bolero red, black top and interior and largely an unrestored original. I bought the car in 1989 from the estate of the original owner and it has been garaged since I purchased it and has been driven on sunny summer days only. The car runs great though the carburetor likely needs adjusting as it can be harder to start when cold. The master cylinder was replaced last year and it has a brand new top that was just installed in January (I have the receipt). I completely rebuilt the suspension of the car about 15 years ago and it rides tight for a big car as a result. I replaced the carpet several years ago and other than that the interior is 100% original and in excellent condition, with only a few cracks on the driver’s side armrest. It has a 327 cu. - 275 HP turbo-fire engine with a powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission work well. There is a small amount of corrosion on the quarter panels and on the fenders at the rear bottom adjacent to the doors. The doors, floors and trunk are clean and corrosion free. The passenger’s side door has a slight dent in it from a bump in a parking lot. It has the original SS hubcabs, convertible top boot, trunk mat, spare tire & jack, the original GM keys and owner’s manual, as well as a few replacement items that go with the car including window weather stripping and hood chrome trim. One of only 9,545 SS Impala convertibles built for 1967.
The car has 127,900 original miles on it, with only 10,000 of those being added in the last 32 years. The car was purchased new from Holiday Chevrolet – Oldsmobile in Winnipeg and it is my understanding that the car was brought to BC a couple years thereafter. I picked it up in Langley, BC.
