For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

In 1967 Chevrolet introduced a stylish new coupe that, along with the Corvette, would come to define the brand's successful foray into motorsports and performance. And, as we've all come to know, the Camaro, backing timeless two-door style with an array V8 powerplants, was a legend in the making! At RK Motors Charlotte we take pride in specializing in exclusive, world class classics. And that's why we're proud to feature this MacNeish-certified Camaro Super Sport. Wrapping a date-correct big block/4-speed drivetrain in correct green and black aesthetics, this retro wonder is a glorious trip back to the days of Win On Sunday, Sell On Monday!

BIG BLOCK GO, RALLYE GREEN SHOW

The beneficiary of a professional, nut-and-bolt restoration that earned national accolades from Super Chevy, this clean coupe is a choice collectible that currently presents much better than any factory original. During the car's rotisserie reboot, solid sheetmetal was massaged into great alignment, layered in correct Rallye Green two-stage and streaked with stylish Hockey Stripes. And today, one close look at our high-resolution photos reveals a handsome payoff in the form of one slick Chevrolet muscle car! At the front of this Panther, a black Super Sport grille hangs a tough "SS" badge between clear headlights, clear parking lamps and a rechromed bumper. Above that grille, a Camaro-branded header leads a familiar Super Sport Hood, which fronts matte stainless wipers. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile cants optional quarter louvers amid polished door handles, factory Camaro badging and requisite Super Sport rocker treatment. A polished mirror reflects a crisp greenhouse that's framed with straight stainless, trimmed with painted drip rails and capped with correct Black vinyl. And at the back of the car, a satin Super Sport valance centers a fourth "SS" emblem between a Camaro-branded trunk, textured taillights and a second rechromed bumper.

CAMMED 396

This epic Super Sport gets motivated by 396 cubic inches of date-correct big block that's been thoughtfully upgraded with a COMP hydraulic cam. A precise combination of oxygen and fuel enters the rowdy mill's combustion chambers through a polished air cleaner, stainless fluid lines and a reliable Rochester carburetor. Below that carb, a sea of brilliant Chevy Orange paint covers the block from its cast iron intake all the way to its stamped steel oil pan. At the back of that intake, a reliable points distributor shoots spark through loomed Packard TV R Suppression cables. Familiar iron heads hide hydraulic lifters between polished valve covers and restored exhaust manifolds. In front of those tubes, tight belts spin a rebuilt alternator, factory power steering and a factory smog pump. A big radiator fronts pliable GM hoses that are cinched via tight tower clamps. Those components are, in traditional fashion, seated in a slick, Satin Black frame. And that pigment is dotted with world class detailing, like vivid decals and a fresh Delco Moraine brake booster.

AS IT WERE

Under this impressive F-Body you'll find a fully sorted chassis that, like the car's glossy exterior and lust worthy engine, has been restored to very high standards. The car's date-correct big block spins a date-correct Muncie which, in-turn, twists a correct 12-bolt axle. That stellar drivetrain pushes a virtually spotless suspension, which compliments factory power steering with astute power front disc and rear drum brakes. Chambered exhaust barks through galvanized tail pipes. And power meets the pavement through stylish Rally Sport Wheels, which twist F70-14 Goodyear Wide Treads around stainless trim rings and turbine-style center caps.

SETTING THE STANDARD

The Standard Black Interior hiding behind this Camaro's glossy doors is a correct factory affair that, 55 years after its debut, is still both stylish and cool. Tall bucket seats frame a wood-trimmed console that's finished with a polished Hurst shifter. In front of that island, a warp-free dash hangs rebuilt factory telemetry above correct Delco audio. That seat, dash and console trifecta is completely framed by a tight headliner, fade-free side panels and clean carpet. And the driver spins an appropriate Super Sport steering wheel.

If you're ready to experience a car that puts the "C" in CLASSIC, you're going to love this super cool Camaro Super Sport! Call, click or visit http://www.RKMotors.com for more information.
