This 1970 Chevrolet Nova has a powerful small block under the hood,
the control of four-on-the-floor, and a seductively dark style. So
yes, this certainly has the power and poise to back up its looks of
a mean icon.
The paint sets the tone correctly for the car. The blue has a deep
and dark tone that makes you understand it's a meaner machine. But
there's also a nice metallic element of a true classic. It radiated
nicely in the sunshine with the chrome bumpers, ribbed rockers, and
trim. The dark color also goes well with upgrades like the blackout
grille, SS badging, SS-style hood, and blackout rear panel to give
this the right attitude for a street machine. But our favorite part
might just be the wheels. They are large 17-inch Ridler alloys with
a brushed silver style that makes this one look extra powerful and
extra stylish. And because the overall impression of this car is
one that you can easily take out on the streets, the wheels also
let you fit nice modern tires.
The black interior keeps the dark attitude going. And a nice deep
and dark presentation on the dash, carpeting, and door panels that
suggest a more recent investment here. The two wide rows of bench
seats let you spread out and get comfortable. And there's also a
touch of cool old-school style that comes from a bench seat car
with a floor shifter. It feels like you've got a sleeper or Yenko
machine. And there are more great driver's pieces like the Chevy
three-spoke steering wheel, auxiliary readouts below the dash, and
a tach prominently placed in the center of the steering column.
Under the hood is Chevrolet's hardy 350 cubic-inch V8. It has some
nice shine from the valve covers and air grabber, but the real
treat is the substance within. It includes upgrades like an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers
feeding into the dual exhaust. There are also good supporting
components, like an electronic ignition and a newer radiator. The
Muncie four-speed manual transmission gives you control over the
power package. Plus, with power steering, front disc brakes, and
wide modern tires, it's easy to enjoy this upgraded Nova.
Mean, powerful, and iconic, it's hard to resist a coupe like this.
So it's time to get this Nova in your garage. Call today!!!
