Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible is a terrific combination of
vintage and new. You have the factory-correct single-year color in
a nicely detailed package. But upgrades like a powerful small
block, four-wheel disc brakes, and a custom sound system make this
classic drop-top a great cruiser for today.
That irresistible color you're looking at is called Corvette
Bronze. It's a one-year-only color, and the trim tag tells us it's
factory correct. It was given a respray later in life to make sure
it still has a quality glow in the sunlight. As a V8 Camaro, they
gave it nice sporty details like the cowl hood, chin spoiler, and
D80 rear spoiler. There's a sophisticated side, too, with the
bright chrome bumpers and trim. Plus, we love the way the D91
sports stripe is pained on in white so that it goes so well with
the white folding top. This is a nice car that's built for
cruising. So the finish shines well, and the details are there to
impress. But as you look at it all, the details prove this one is
great for driving, and therefore, it strives to be the kind of car
you never have a second thought about driving. There are also some
modern touches, like the LED rings in the crystal clear headlights
and the radio antenna delete. This feeling of vintage and upgraded
seems to come together perfectly on the wheels. The polished
American Racing Torq Thrust units are a great classic design, but
the larger 17-inch size allows you to fit modern tires.
Since the touch of white looks so good on the exterior, they
continued it inside. So there's nice color coordination with the
roof up or down. The interior has a nice look with the Camaro's
deluxe setup, and it's an overall inviting style for family and
friends. It's also built to be a good driver's car with the
upgraded sports steering wheel, billet column shifter, and added
readouts, including a digital tach. And we particularly love the
stereo. You have an AM/FM/CD deck with a USB input to plug in your
phone. That's your gateway to the full system with Kicker door
speakers and dual JL Audio subwoofers in a custom trunk enclosure.
You may want to add an antenna or extra amp, but overall, it's a
big money custom setup that delivers upgraded sound and a unique
showpiece for wherever you park this convertible.
The callouts on the side may say 327 for vintage sake, but that's a
bit of a fib because you have the larger 350 cubic-inch V8 under
the hood. And the shining and tidy presentation is a great way to
showcase the added power. It includes upgrades like a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding
into the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. There are good
supporting pieces, too, like an MSD ignition system and an aluminum
radiator with electric fan. It's a strong motor that's part of a
well-done driving page that includes a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and the upgraded four-wheel power
disc brakes with SSBC drilled & slotted rotors.
A great color, upgraded power, and all the best cruising features
come together on a classic Camaro drop-top. So don't let this deal
slip away. Call today!!!
