1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible
If you walked into the Pontiac showroom in 1965 this Tri-powered GTO convertible would have been the centerpiece of all the new Pontiacs. Now restored, it is once again the car to have. Forget the Chevelles, 442s and Mopars, this is the car that stands out from the rest.

This 1965 GTO has been in the same family for more than 40 years and was stored until its recent restoration This car has it all:
Excellent from Top to Bottom
The Cameo Ivory finish on this GTO (as original) is in very good condition. The paint shows nicely with plenty of sparkle.
The chrome and stainless trim is all in excellent condition.
The underside is generally clean with normal evidence of prior restoration.
The parchment white vinyl interior was redone with new foam, springs and upholstery and is clean and fresh-looking. New carpet and kick panels give the interior a fresh look.
The white convertible top is in good condition with a power raising/lowering mechanism. The convertible top’s window is free of discoloration.
The 389 V-8 was recently rebuilt (pistons, valves, cam, crank, etc.). The carburetors were also rebuilt so that the engine starts right up at the turn of the key and brings the car smoothly and briskly up to speed.
The replacement 4-speed manual transmission with a new clutch shifts nicely making driving an enjoyable—and exhilarating—experience: the way a GTO should be.
The power brakes have been rebuilt (new master cylinder and booster) to make stopping reliable and effortless.
All of the safety features (lights, signals, horn, wipers) on the GTO work as do the gauges and speedometer. The car has front seatbelts for added safety.
The convenience items include: power convertible top, pushbutton AM radio (makes noise but not music!) with electric antenna, power steering with tilt and power brakes. The heater/fan will need some attention as will the muffler.
