When the second generation of the BMW M3 came onto the market in
1992, it initially seemed as if the engineers had educated the
previously unadapted sports sedan to become a thoroughly cultivated
gentleman. For many BMW M watchers, their first impression of the
successor to the rebellious BMW M3 E30 was that it was relatively
reserved. In fact, the second BMW M3 took it to a whole new level
of everyday practicality right from the start. This was not without
underlining its typical M character with the help of plenty of
racing technology. Thus, the M3 E36 preserved the fire that ignited
its legendary predecessor and pioneer and at the same time found
its own identity on new paths.

The exterior of this M3 is in great condition considering miles.
The Avus Blue Metallic paint was just professionally cut and buffed
to clear shine! This car has been garaged its entire life and the
exterior is in excellent condition. This M3 is Carfax certified to
have never been in an accident. The body is great shape, and there
are no major dents or dings. The front of this car has almost no
rock chipping. All of the trim and lights still look like new. The
car truly shows like an example with less than half the miles!
The interior is in great condition as well. The Dove Gray Vader
seats are soft and supple with very minimal signs of usage. There
are no tears, rips, or deep wear lines anywhere. We did just have
the drivers seat out for some bolster repairs and used all leather
with no cheap vinyl sections to cut costs. The carpet is in great
condition as well as the original M3 floor mats. The door panels,
trim panels and dashboard are all very nice and have no cracks. All
of the electrical equipment in the car works as it should (Windows,
locks, sun roof, stereo, OBC, lights, etc). The A/C blows cold. The
trunk compartment is in very nice shape. All of the original tools
and spare tire are there! Overall the cosmetic condition of the car
is excellent. You would never know this car is almost 30 years
old!
This M3 is in excellent mechanical condition. We have inspected and
test driven the vehicle over 100 miles and have found no major
mechanical problems. The engine starts right up and runs very
strong. The transmission shifts smooth. The car does not leak
anything. The tires are newer Sumitomo performance radials. The
tires have plenty of tread left. The front and rear brakes have
lots of pad left. This car sounds great and handles amazing.
All in all, this is one of the cleanest E36 M3s that I have had the
privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally
maintained and truly loved by its single owner. This BMW is a
fantastic example and will be the envy of any true 90's M lover!
