Vehicle Description
Proper V8 power, solid investments, and hardtop appeal headline
this 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS. And the fact that a real-deal Super
Sport with the right upgrades is also so value priced makes the
full package irresistible.
This hardtop has straight body panels, good panel gaps, doors that
shut with confidence, and eye-catching shine from brightwork
everywhere from chrome bumpers to grille. So this will immediately
check all the right classic car boxes for you. But that's not why
you'll really enjoy it. The dark gray metallic paint brings an
upgraded tone to this vintage coupe. The finish has the kind of
gloss that pops in the sunshine. It's not looking to be too showy,
and instead, this Nova that you easily drive and people talk about
long after you pull away from the stoplight. The coupe also likes
to show off the right touches of added aggression with details like
the power dome cowl hood and chrome dual exhaust tips. The full
package comes together with the American Racing Torq Thrust alloys
with 15/17-inch front/rear stagger that unites the shine and sporty
side of a machine that just makes you want to get in and drive.
When you open the door, you're greeted with a well-done black
interior. There has been a solid investment here to have a dark and
fresh style on the upholstery, door panels, headliner, dash pad,
and the other fundamentals. The interior was redone within the last
few years, and the front bucket seats are said to be borrowed from
a Chevelle and so they give you plenty of individual comfort. This
is a driver-oriented setup with a grippy classic steering wheel,
auxiliary gauge trio, and a B&M floor shifter. There's even an
upgraded digital AM/FM stereo w/aux input for better driving music.
So you can already imagine rolling down all the windows on this
pillarless hardtop and driving all weekend.
In case you haven't picked up on it yet, we're really liking how
this one is made for being driven, and the heart of that feeling is
under the hood. The 350 cubic-inch V8 has a bright and tidy style
in the middle of the dark engine bay. The motor has been enhanced
with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a Weiand intake, and long
tube headers that add even more muscle while also contributing to
the rumble of the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The motor
is even supported by the right components like an HEI ignition and
an aluminum radiator with electric fan. The three-speed automatic
transmission is a recent rebuild with a shift kit for performance
driving. The undercarriage photos show fresh investments such as
bushings, coil springs in front, and leaf springs and shocks in the
rear. Add in power brakes, front discs, and modern sports tires,
and this Nova is a ton of fun on the streets.
Complete with build receipts, this Nova SS has an attractive style
and serious power - all in a package that looks ready to cruise on
a whim. So if you're looking to hit the road tomorrow, you need to
call today!
