This is a "Super Cool" 57 Nomad that has undergone a frame off custom build, started out with a clean California body, done in a "Show Quality" PPG Hot & Hues Lavender, base coat clear coat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, new tinted windshield, new tinted side glass, rear gate glass is original in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, all of the original window stainless and belt moldings have been re-polished to a show condition, pot-metal pieces and rear gate have also been re-chromed, new side view mirrors, new door handles, new hood jet, hood bar and fender eye brows have been re-chromed, grill, grill bar and parking lights also look like new, new head light bezels, re-chromed original front bumper; which is a California bumper, side stainless trim is original and has been re-polished to a show finish, new Bel Air side panels, rear gate spears and handle have been re-chromed, new tail light housings, rear bumper is original and has been re-chromed.
Custom gray tweed interior, complete updated painless wiring harness throughout, dash has been refinished, billet aluminum dash trim, instrumentation has been updated with Dakota Digital; as well as clock, nicely outfitted with AM/FM Classic Auto Sound radio, billet vintage AC and heat controls, original dash AC vents have been re-chromed, also has been nicely outfitted with IDIDIT tilt steering column, LoKar billet aluminum steering wheel, custom one piece headliner, visors, updated with power windows, billet arm rest, window and door handles, custom front and rear door panels; as well as kick panels - also rear luggage compartment, outfitted with a pair of buckets up front; driver side is power, both recline and fold forward, front seat belts, custom center console with B&M performance shifter, original rear seat has been upholstered to match, new carpet and floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have a GM Crate 502, 450 horse, updated with set of Edelbrock dual-quads, Edelbrock aluminum intake and pair of Edelbrock 4 barrel carbs, custom fuel log and regulators, aluminum valve covers and breather, K&N filter, full MSD ignition with billet distributor, High-Flow aluminum water pump, polished AC compressor, chrome alternator and brackets, performance power steering pump and external billet reservoir, BeCool heavy duty aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, billet recovery tank, AC condenser with custom lines, power rack and pinion steering, power front disc brakes, electric wipers, set of ceramic coated Sanderson cast headers into 3 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust, front suspension has been gone through, updated with QA1 coil over shocks and springs, front sway bar, this strong running 502 is backed up with a 400 turbo trans, stainless fuel and brake lines, 12 bolt posi rear end with 355 gear.
Rides on a set of American Racing Torq Thrust wheels and BF Goodrich TA Radials all around, 15x7 up front with 215/60/15 and 15x8 out back with 225/70/15.
