Due to the popularity of street rods, it is getting more and more
difficult to find nice examples of factory style, pre-war classics.
This 1941 Chevrolet Special deluxe 2 door sedan is a nice, driver
example of a seldom seen, factory-style, pre-war classic. This
Chevy is powered by a 216 cubic inch, inline 6 cylinder and backed
by a 3-speed manual transmission with a column shift. The 216 cubic
inch 6-cylinder has been nicely upgraded with an aluminum radiator,
Edmunds intake manifold equipped with dual Rochester single-barrel
carburetors. The engine is very tight and performs just as it
should. The clutch functions properly and the 3-speed transmission
shifts through the gears with no issues. The straight-6 delivers a
great sound through a split header and true dual exhaust. The
Burgundy Metallic exterior is in good condition with only a few
minor defects. The paint still shines nice and the exterior trim is
in very good condition and shines very well. The exterior is
complimented nicely by a period correct sun visor, period correct
fog lamps, a set of faux spot lights, and a set of wide white wall
Firestone tires. The factory style, burgundy cloth interior is in
very good condition with very few defects to note. Both the front
and rear seats have plenty of cushion and are free of any rips or
tears. This car is equipped with an aftermarket AM/FM stereo. If
you are looking for a nice driving factory style, 1941 Chevrolet
Special Deluxe that would show well at your local cruise-in and
cruises nicely, you will want to take a strong look at this
one.
