Vehicle Description
This 1977 GMC Vandura 3500 is a restored real-deal Pathfinder 4x4
van. So it has a very cool look that balances rugged features with
a modern sense of style. And with a full custom interior that
includes air conditioning, TVs, and a fold-flat bed, this
go-anywhere van brings all the best comforts with it
everywhere.
This GMC lets you know exactly what it is in the first impression.
The Root Beer Brown paint is a popular modern color today, and at
the same time, it has plenty of metallic to remind you of the best
classic vans that cruised the boulevards in the 1970s. But you know
this one could take you beyond Van Nuys Blvd and all the way
through the Malibu Canyon. There are a ton of durable upgrades that
are united in their darkness. It starts up front with the steel
bumper that includes a bull bar, tow looks, LED lights, and an
integrated winch. There's a similar beefy setup in the rear, too.
The rockers and fender flares are done in rugged liner paint, and
because this is a 3500-series van, the 17-inch wheels have an HD
8-lug set up. The side ladder takes you to the full roof rack that
allows you to mount canoes, kayaks, a pop-up tent, or whatever you
love best for an adventure. And the large LED light bars can
practically turn night into day. The blackout grille, dark trim,
and deeply tinted windows complete this well-coordinated dark side.
It all makes for a sharp-looking custom that looks like it won't
hesitate to get down to business. So you'll be quite happy with the
way it looks no matter if you forge your own path to the campsite
or just make your own parking space at your favorite tailgating
event.
The interior makes sure that if you take this one camping, you can
never say you're "roughing it." The tan vinyl with snakeskin style
inserts look terrific on the upholstery, and the dash pad, side
panels, and the full headliner were also done to match. The
driver's seat is a true command position with a power adjusting
high-back bucket seat, a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel on a
tilt column, and a full set of Dolphin gauges. There are even cool
modern features like a backup camera and push-button start. And
cold-blowing air conditioning makes adventuring easy. The layout is
where this longer 3500-series really shows its advantage. You get
two rows of bucket seats, and there's still plenty of room behind
that for the special bench that electronically folds flat into a
queen-sized bed. Two integrated flat-screen TVs, a stereo system
with Rockford Fosgate speakers, cup holders, and LED ambient
lighting make sure you take the fun with you everywhere.
One of your favorite parts of this go-anywhere van will be the
motor. It's a 400 cubic-inch V8, and the consignor states there's
only about 165 miles since this was rebuilt. It also includes an
Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor, an upgraded intake, and a
nice tune on the dual exhaust. So it's a fresh and robust heart,
and that's a terrific power package on a van that likes to do more.
The 4x4 system is a proper two-speed transfer case. You also have a
lifted suspension, ProComp shocks, and a ProComp steering
stabilizer. This was converted by Pathfinder when new, and that's
an important distinction. Like Yenko was for a powerful Camaro,
Pathfinder was basically like that for rugged off-road vans. So
it's not just that you have a cool 4x4, but also one of the most
celebrated names in 4x4 vans. And it's easy to show off this
distinction with nice anytime driving features like the three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front
discs.
You're up for any adventure, and so is this classic GMC Vandura
4x4. So you know you can't miss this deal. Call today!!!
