Pushing 425HP and 460 lb-ft torque, this 1966 Corvette Stingray 427
Turbo Jet is a blue beauty that hearkens back to a loud, fast, and
fuel-crazed driving experience. Nearly tripling the horsepower of
the previous 1953 Corvette, the General Motors Big Block 427 cubic
inch ''Turbo Jet'' engine was engineered for superior performance
and durability throughout the powerplant. The incorporation of the
Turbo Jet launched the 1966 Corvette into a competitive position
against Shelbys of the day and the result transformed the Corvette
lineup forever. This lightly resto-modded 1966 C2 Stingray Corvette
comes with a stack of records and receipts that detail its new
Tremec 5 speed manual transmission, Global West suspension
(upper/lower control arms, strut rods, front and rear sway bars),
Shark bite front and real coilover conversion, custom Holley ultra
carburetor, Willwood brakes, Vintage air conditioning, 3 point seat
belts, and tasteful refresh of the carpet, sound system, and seats.
With over $60,000 in receipts, the car stays true to its roots with
the original owner's manual and window sticker and comes with all
the original removed parts, 4 speed transmission and 1 set knockoff
wheels with tires, plus two additional sets wheels. A great
opportunity to own a lightly modded C2 big block.
