Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 23rd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Chevrolet's Suburban, with the
exception of the WWII years, has been in continuous production for
an astounding 87 years! From the very beginning the Carryall
Suburban, as it was initially named, was a wagon-type body on a
light truck frame that could haul up to eight people and their
luggage. Twelve generations later, this iconic SUV continues to be
America's most prolific people hauler. This stunning Omaha Orange
1971 Suburban is a fine example that's a bit nicer that it was when
new. Lift the hood and you'll be greeted by a 1965 396 ci big block
that's been bored (.030) to 402 ci and sports an Edelbrock
carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer 2.0 aluminum intake manifold,
ceramic coated long tube headers, HEI, an aluminum Be Cool
radiator, an aluminum water pump, and billet brackets and hardware.
Additional features include power steering, power front disc
brakes, power and heated front seats, air conditioning, TH400
automatic transmission, custom interior with Orange Houndstooth
upholstery, unique black tweed headliner, console, tilt steering
column, a powerful Sony stereo, billet hardware, and alloy wheels
wrapped with Michelin 265/60R18 tires. Chevrolet made less than
10,000 Suburbans in 1971 and only 5,395 with the tailgate, so you
know that you won't 'see yourself coming' with this jewel. Another
cool cruiser from the team that can make your dream a reality.
