Vehicle Description
Incredibly Rare 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX 426 Hemi 4 Speed! This
Plymouth GTX wears its beautiful dark green metallic paint
complemented by an original black interior with black vinyl bucket
seats. Magnum 500 wheels are wrapped with new Redline tires and
stopping power is provided by factory front disc brakes. A date
code correct, dual 4-barrel 426ci Hemi sits under the hood
delivering a factory rated 425 horsepower, with tire shredding
torque coming in at 490 foot pounds! That incredible power is sent
through Chrysler's go-to A-833 four-speed transmission paired with
an 11"" clutch set-up. Don't look for a Pistol-Grip shifter though,
those didn't come along until the 1970 model year! Chrysler
vehicles of that era, equipped with the high horsepower engines,
and 4-speed transmissions, received the anvil-like Dana 60 rear
axle featuring a super-strong, 9.75"" ring gear, and was available
only with 3.54:1 gearing and a ""Sure Grip"", limited-slip
differential.
What makes this GTX so rare? Hemis were installed in 125 GTXs, the
balance received 440s. Of the 108 hardtops were 48 TorqueFlites and
60 four-speeds. Only 60 Folks, perhaps it's time to consider one
for your garage. Original broadcast sheet is still with the car as
well as the Galen Govier fender tag decode sheet further confirming
its pedigree and its spot in the Chrysler Registry. A full paint
correction and ceramic coat have been performed to help further
preserve this piece of Mopar history. Everything in the car works
as it should! Call or email for more information @ 248-714-2110
