This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is the ideal mix of vintage and
upgraded. It keeps the classic pieces you want like the
numbers-matching V8 and four-speed. It's even on an actual miles
title. But you also have the restoration investments to give it a
sleeker shine you want on a side pipe Sting Ray.
This Corvette was changed from green to red, but you may never see
a sign of that ever. It shows they really took the time to
disassemble the body for restoration and paint it correctly. This
kind of investment in quality means a very straight, smooth, and
radiant body. The chrome bumpers look good without being overdone,
and the wheels are classic Rally units with redline tires. And that
all makes for the right look of a great classic that wants to be
impressive without losing its vintage charm.
The newer black roof looks terrific against the red, and when you
take it down, you've also got an attractive black interior. Just
like the exterior, this is a color change, and they took the time
to do it correctly. So everyone will just think it's a
well-presented stock setup, right down to the working clock and
Delco AM/FM radio. And everything from luxury features like power
windows to fundamentals like weather stripping have the quality
feel of thoughtful care. So it's easy to get comfortable in the
bucket as you grab the bright shifter, grip the wood-rimmed
steering wheel, and watch the full gauge package dance while you
enjoy the drive.
Under the hood is a stylish and very correct presentation. The
reason why this one remains looking stock is that there are a lot
of vintage features to mention. You have the numbers-matching 327
cubic-inch V8, and it's topped with the correct Holley four-barrel
carburetor. The four-speed manual transmission is also the
numbers-matching unit, and it feeds a year-correct (and likely
original) Positraction rear end. This was the final year for the
C2, and they saved for last. It means you had the best features
from the series all available, and this one has them. This includes
the control of four-wheel disc brakes and the hypnotic rumble of
side pipe exhaust.
Stylish, vintage, upgraded, all-around fun make this iconic
Corvette a terrific treat for those who enjoy an all-around awesome
classic drop-top. Call today!!!
