EXTERIOR: These colors look great on a 56 Chevy, they really pop!
This car presents itself really well although it's not perfect. The
body is clean, no rust or damage showing. The panels fit nice. The
paint is glossy and sharp looking. I'm standing next to it and it's
gorgeous, if you get up and inspect it you will find some nicks,
scratches, minor imperfections. Up front the chrome was replaced
including the bumper, grill, hood bar and headlight bezels. The
hood ornament is pitted. New mirrors, door handles and emblems. The
moldings down the side are straight. In back the taillights, bumper
and the V have been replaced. New windshield, the rest of the glass
is exceptionally nice. Clean jambs, new weatherstrips and sill
plates. It's rolling on 15 inch Unique chrome wheels and BFG
tires.
INTERIOR: Same pretty turquoise and white inside. Reproduction
upholstery and door panels are looking sharp. It has the correct
tight loop carpet. The automatic shifter sticks out of the floor
and resembles a stick shift. The metal trim inside is repainted.
The trim on the dash, speedo bezel were replaced. It has a new
chrome tilt column, original style steering wheel was replaced. A
gauge cluster under the dash helps you keep an eye on the motor's
vitals. Headliner, visors and mirror were replaced. Dome light
works. Kick panels, door welting were replaced. It has new
turquoise seatbelts in front.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor is a 383 stroker making 450 hp! We
have the receipt, it was bought new in 2017. It has Edelbrock
aluminum heads, Comp cam, aluminum roller rockers. On top is a high
rise intake with an Edelbrock carb with electric choke, billet
distributor with HEI ignition. There's a set of coated headers.
Dressed up with aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. It runs cool
with an aluminum water pump and radiator. Reproduction GM hoses.
The battery is properly secured, it has new horns, stainless
braided trans dipstick, new alternator, steering coupler looks new.
The engine bay is painted nicely.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal painted semigloss white. Rubber mat
and weatherstrip were replaced.
UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it looks fresh. The starter, oil
pan, flywheel and freeze plugs look new. It has been upgraded with
a Turbo 350 automatic. The u-joints have been replaced. Great
sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The shocks were
replaced. The front end components are clean. The bottom of the car
and chassis were prepped and painted semi gloss black. Floors,
rockers and mounts look solid.
This is a great looking car that has a very stout motor. It sounds
great! Some minor tinkering would bring this car to the next level
but you don't need to take out a mortgage to buy it. Ready to
enjoy.
